What is TAPiTAG Check-In Standard? +
TAPiTAG Check-In Standard is designed for businesses that need a simple and professional way to manage staff Check-In and Check-Out.
Employees tap your customised NFC Check-In Point or scan its QR code using their smartphone. Their attendance is then recorded in the TAPiTAG Check-In Management Dashboard.
How many staff can I add? +
Your active staff allowance depends on the Standard package you choose:
1 Check-In Point
Up to 20 staff
2 Check-In Points
Up to 40 staff
5 Check-In Points
Up to 75 staff
10 Check-In Points
Up to 150 staff
20 Check-In Points
Up to 300 staff
50 Check-In Points
Up to 500 staff
The allowance applies to active staff profiles, not the number of Check-Ins made.
Are staff Check-Ins unlimited? +
Yes. Employee Check-Ins and Check-Outs are unlimited.
Your package controls the number of active staff profiles you can have, but there is no limit on how many times each active staff member can Check-In or Check-Out.
What happens when an employee leaves? +
Employees who leave your organisation can be archived or deactivated.
Once they are no longer active, they do not count towards your active staff allowance and that space can be used for another employee.
Can Standard be used for guests or visitors? +
No. TAPiTAG Check-In Standard is designed specifically for staff attendance.
If you also need to manage guests and visitors, choose TAPiTAG Check-In PLUS.
For staff, guests and contractors together, choose TAPiTAG Check-In PRO.
Do employees need to download an app? +
No. No app is required.
Staff simply tap the NFC Check-In Point or scan the QR code using their smartphone. The Check-In page opens directly in their browser.
Can I see who is currently on site? +
Yes. The Live Who’s On Site? view gives you a real-time overview of staff currently recorded as checked in.
This can help managers quickly understand current attendance across connected Check-In Points and locations.
Can I use TAPiTAG Check-In across multiple locations? +
Yes. Standard supports multi-location management.
Check-In Points can be installed across offices, entrances, departments, warehouses or different sites and managed centrally from the TAPiTAG dashboard.
What attendance information is recorded? +
TAPiTAG records staff Check-In and Check-Out activity and creates a searchable attendance history.
Records can be searched and filtered, and attendance data can be exported to CSV / Excel.
Can I capture a photo when staff Check-In? +
Yes. Optional Check-In photo capture can be enabled where required as part of your organisation's attendance process.
Does TAPiTAG send Check-In and Check-Out notifications? +
Yes. TAPiTAG Check-In supports email Check-In and Check-Out notifications along with scheduled attendance reminders.
What hardware is included? +
Each package includes the corresponding number of customised NFC + QR Check-In Points.
Your Check-In Points can be customised with your business or organisation's branding.
Do I need tablets or dedicated clock-in terminals? +
No. TAPiTAG works using the smartphones your employees already carry.
There is no requirement for dedicated tablets, punch clocks, fingerprint readers or specialist attendance terminals.
Is software included in the initial price? +
Yes. Your initial purchase includes your customised Check-In hardware and your first 12 months of TAPiTAG Check-In software.
After the first 12 months, an annual software renewal applies based on the package you selected.
Can I upgrade my package later? +
Yes. If your team grows or you require additional Check-In Points, you can move to a larger Standard package with a higher active staff allowance.
If you later require guest management or contractor management, you can upgrade to PLUS or PRO.
Which Standard package should I choose? +
Choose your package based on both your number of active staff and the number of Check-In Points you require.
For example, a business with 35 active staff would require at least the 2 Point / 40 Staff package.
A business with 120 active staff would require at least the 10 Point / 150 Staff package.
