What is TAPiTAG event fundraising?
TAPiTAG combines NFC and QR donation links with a branded donation experience and live fundraising displays. Guests use their own phones to donate, while the event screen can show progress and table or team totals.
Do guests need to download an app?
No TAPiTAG app is needed. Guests tap using a compatible NFC-enabled phone or scan the QR code to open the donation page in their browser.
Which payment methods can guests use?
Available methods depend on the payment provider configured for your event. Card payments and supported wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay can be discussed during setup; wallet availability also depends on the guest’s device and browser.
What does the venue need?
Plan for internet access so guests can open the donation page and complete payment. To show the leaderboard, you’ll also need a suitable screen and a connected device. Share the venue’s equipment details so we can confirm the display setup.
How far ahead should we book?
Contact us once you have an event in mind. Lead time depends on the hardware, branding and setup required. Include your event date in the enquiry and we’ll confirm what is achievable before you book.
Can you use our charity or event branding?
Yes, branded hardware and event visuals can be discussed as part of your proposal. Tell us about your charity, sponsors and event theme so we can recommend suitable options.
Where do the donations go, and what fees apply?
The payment-provider arrangement, settlement destination and processing fees need to be confirmed for your event. Ask for these alongside the TAPiTAG hardware, setup and software costs so you can assess the full proposal.
Can guests donate anonymously?
Tell us what you need for donor privacy and public display names. We’ll confirm the options for your proposed setup, including which details appear on the event screen and which information the payment provider requires.
Can we see the dashboard before booking?
Yes. Book a demo to see the donation journey and live display, and discuss how the setup would work at your event.
