An NFC WiFi tag lets a compatible phone read information by tapping the tag. Depending on your TAPiTAG product, this provides fixed WiFi details or opens a digital guest profile. The QR code offers a scanning option.
Instant Connect uses fixed network details and needs replacing if those details change. Smart WiFi opens an editable profile, allowing you to update the WiFi name, password and links without replacing the physical tag.
Guests tap or scan to open your TAPiTAG profile. They can view the network name, copy the password, then use it to join your WiFi. Your profile can also include menus, booking links and reviews. Try the sample guest profile in a new tab.
With Smart WiFi, update the password shown on your digital profile. With Instant Connect, a change to the WiFi name or password means the tag needs replacing. Your router’s settings are managed separately.
